Seedling, a London-based carbon offsetting start-up, aims to simplify and democratize carbon offsetting for businesses of all sizes and industries through a tech-focused yet natural brand identity.

Seedling is a carbon offsetting start-up based in London, their intention clear: making carbon offsetting simple and accessible to all businesses, no matter the size or industry. With an online portal business Model, the founders were looking for a tech-focused brand identity that remained natural in style as to not loose sight of their initial goal.

In addition to designing the brand identity and guidelines, I was tasked with designing the badges that seedling award to their clients upon achieving the different levels of carbon offsetting. This project resonated deeply with me as the climate crisis is a concern close to my heart, and is something that I endeavour to tackle through design.

He did a good job at understanding our “vision” (which was relatively loose at times) and executing it. We liked the approach of offering three routes, with the flexibility to pick and choose elements from each – this helped to involve us in the process and ensure we were happy with the result.
